Taken from Bin "G" - Coffee County Probate Office Submitted by Melody Moore McCook LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF DANIEL GASKINS SR, Douglas, Ga. State of Georgia, Coffee County. I, Daniel Gaskins, Sr., of said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills here- tofore made by me. ITEM ONE I wish, and hereby direct my executrix, as soon as prac- ticable after my death, to pay all my debts, and if a sale of property shall be necessary for that purpose, I wish her to select for sale such property as can be most ad- vantageously used for that purpose, and I hereby authorize her to sell same at public or private sale, without an order from court, as she may see fit. ITEM TWO I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Sarah Aleph Gaskins, for and during her natural life, all property, both real, personal, and choses in actions, of every kind and de scription, which I may own at the time of my death, includ- ing all money of mine in bank or other places with the full right to hold, use, sell or otherwise dispose of all or any por- tion thereof as she sees fit, either by deed of conveyance or otherwise, and pass full title thereto. ITEM THREE I will and direct that after the death of my beloved wife, Sarah Aleph Gaskins, that all property of every kind and description of which I may die seized and possessed, excepting therefrom such portions as may be conveyed or otherwise disposed of by my wife during her life time; shall be dived equally, share and sharel alike, between my son David Fisher Gaskins and my daughter Annie Bell Clough. ITEM FOUR I hereby name and appoiint my beloved wife, Sarah Aleph Gaskins executrix of this my last will and testament, and reposing full confidence in her as such, hereby vest her, only, with complete and full authority and power, without the legal formalities of procuring orders from the court, to administer and carry out the terms and directions of this my will, and I further waive and relieve her from the legal formality of making anual returns to the Ordinary or other courts, or of giving bond as such exexutrix. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand, this the 5th day of May A.D., 1917.
