I, B. Peterson, of said state and county, being of sound and dispos-ing mind and memory, do make this my last will and Testament. Item 1. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian likde manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life Item 2. I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without unneccessary delay, by my Executrix hereinafter named and appointed. Item 3. I give and bequeath to my wife Vicey Peterson, the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars in cash. Item 4. I also give,bequeath and devise to my said wife all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land in the city of Douglas, said state and county, upon which I now reside, with all improvements, thereon, in-cluding the family residence and contents thereon; Said lot, tract or parcel of land containing eight acres, more or less, and being bounded as follows, to-wit; On the north by lands of the estate of Joseph Peter- son and Daniel Gaskins Sr., on the east by Peterson Avenue; on the south by street known as Irwin Street, and on the west by lands of the Georgia and Florida Railway; with all and singular the rights, members and ap- purtenances to the said lot, tract or parcel of land in anywise belong- ing, free from all charge and limitations whatever, to her own proper use benefit and behoof forever, with full power to use, Control and dispose of the same as she may deem proper. Item 5. I give, bequeath and devise to my son, Oliver Peterson, that certain lot, tract or parcel of land in the city of Douglas, said state and county, upon which he now resides, with all improvements thereon, in- cluding the residence and contents thereof; said lot tract or parcel of land containing two acres, more or less, and being bounded as follows, to-wit: On the north by Jackson St., on the east by Madison Avenue; on the south by Sellers St.; and on the west by Peterson Avenue, with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances to the said lot, tract or parcel in anywise belonging, free from all charge and limitation what ever, to his own proper use, benefit and behoof forever, with full power to use, control and dispose of the same as he may deem proper. Item 6. I give and bequeath to W. I. Turner, of Douglas, Georgia, the sum of Five Thousand Dollars in cash. Item 7. I give, bequeath and devise to my said wife, Vicey Peterson, and my said son, Oliver Peterson, all the residue of my estate, both real and personal of every sort, not hereinbefore specially bequeathed or de- vised, in equal shares, share and share alike. Item 8. I hereby constitute and appoint my wife, Vicey Peterson, the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, and I expressly confer power upon her as such Executrix to administer my estate herein pro- vised, excusing her from giving and bond, and also from making and return to the Ordinary.
