Whereupon it is ordered that said will be admitted to record as the last Will and Testament of Green Tanner deceased and that letters testamentory do issue therin to said Elmira Tanner Executor by comply with the Law in such case(?) made approved. State of Georgia}In the name of God Coffee County} Amen I Green Tanner of said State and County being of advanced age but of sound and disposing mind & memory knowing that I must shortly depart this life, deem it right & proper both as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property which Kind providence has blessed me I do therefore make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and anullling all others by me heretofore made. Item 1 I desire that my body be buried in a decent & christian like manner suitable to my circumstance and station(?) in life my Soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for Salvation through the attonment of the blessed Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Item 2 I desire & direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by Executor herein after named & appointed. Item 3 I want my negro boy London & Lucy & Elyce to stay in the ____til Eighteen hundred & seventy to. __to ___ the minor heirs, & then sold & equally divided amongst the heirs. Item 4 I want my three children Manning(?) and Lucinda and Delila to have Two hundred dollars a piece to make them Equal with those that got land. Item 5 I don't want the Stock cattle sold. I want them Equally divided amongst my heirs. Item 6 I want the widow and minor heirs to have two head of work horses __as she may choose out of my stock of horses to put to her use. Item 7 I reserve fifty head of hogs for the use of the widow & minor heirs & the balance of my hogs & horses sold & equally divided amongst the heirs. Item 8 I want my wife & minor heirs to have all my plantation tools house hold & kitchen furnitures for their own proper use & benefits Item 9 I hereby constitute & appoint my loving wife Guardian of the persons & property of my Said minor heirs.
