Hoke Smith. There was a large crowd present at this meeting and there was a great deal of enthusiasm manifested. This is one of the best portions of Colquitt county, and so far as could be learned, there are not more than four men in the entire district who have not expressed themselves as favoring Mr. Smith for governor. There are several rural routes running though the district and most of the people are taking daily papers, and thus keep up with the issues of the campaign.
