                       Mrs. Calhoun Dies; Rites Set Sunday
 Mrs. Rosa J. Calhoun, a longtime resident of Colquitt County, died Friday 
night in Colquitt County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She 
was 95 years old.
 Funeral services will be held at 3pm Sunday at the Henderson Funeral Home 
Chapel with Rev. Roger Benton and Rev. Garnie Brand officiating. Burial will 
be in Westview Cemetery.
 Mrs. Calhoun was born on March 30, 1884 in Abilene, Texas.
 She was the former Miss Rosa Johnston and a resident of Route 2, Pavo. She 
operated a grocery business on Fifth Avenue NW for 50 years.
 Her husband, Jack C. Calhoun, died in 1933. She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church.
 Survivors include two sons, John Cecil Calhoun and John Willard Calhoun, both 
of Moultrie; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn I. Delmar of Pensacola, Fla. and Mrs. 
Katherine Kittie McMullen of Moultrie; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 The body will remain at Henderson Funeral Home. The family, which will be 
staying at the home of Cecil Calhoun on Route 5, Moultrie, will be at the 
funeral home from 7 to 9 Saturday night.

Belle Allums Johnston.
