                            John Cecil Calhoun
 MOULTRIE---- John Cecil Calhoun, 73, of 221 Stripling Road, Moultrie, died 
Saturday August 8, at Tallahassee Regional Medical Center.
 Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday at the Harrell-Faircloth Funeral 
Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at 
Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Sowthall, Keith Mashburn, Jimmy 
Mashburn, Harold Cook, Cody Booth, and Joe W. Norman Jr.
 Born Sept. 20, 1923 in Colquitt County, Mr. Calhoun was a retired plumber and 
pipe fitter and was a member of the local Pipe Fitters Union No. 368. He also 
was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, John Calhoun and Rosa Della Johnston 
Calhoun of Berlin.
 Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Foye Keaton Calhoun, a daughter, 
Sharon Brogdon and her husband Joseph, Madison, Ga.; a sister, Kittie 
McMullen, Moultrie; two grandchildren, Christi Pickens and husband Daryl, 
Madison; and Elizabeth Rose and husband Michael, Monroe; and several nieces 
and nephews.
 Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home, 
which is in charge of arrangements.
