Grantham were held Saturday afternoon at Cool Springs Baptist Church at 4 o'clock. The Rev. Quinton Barnes, pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church conducted the services. The Rev. Grady Moree and the Rev. Willard McCorvey, pastor of Salem Baptist Church, assisted in the rites. Pallbearers were Byard Barnes, Truitt Wingate, L. V. Itson, Deford Summerlin, Otis Truluck, and Charles Pope. Mrs. William A. Grantham, Route 1 Doerun, died Friday afternoon at 12:20pm in a local hospital following an illness of two years. Mrs. Grantham had been a resident of Colquitt County since early childhood. She wa 45. Mrs. Grantham was born in Emanuel County Jan. 14, 1920. She was the former Miss Annette Lightfoot. Surviving Mrs. Grantham are her husband; three sons, Jerry Grantham, Doyle Grantham, and Robert Grantham, all of Route 1 Doerun; two daughters, Mrs. Ren Summerlin, Route 1, and Miss Brenda Grantham of Route 1 Doerun; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson, Marietta, and Mrs. Ben Lewis, Route 5 Moultrie; and one grandson, Kenneth Eugene Grantham.
