                           Dovie Howard Grantham

 DOERUN --- Dovie Howard Grantham, 86 of 861 Grantham Road, Doerun, died 
Thursday March 16, 2000 at Mitchell County Convalescent.

 Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday at Cool Springs Baptist Church 
with interment at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Revs. Ronald Barrett and 
Wayne Smith will officiate.

 Born May 27, 1913 in Colquitt County, Mrs. Grantham was a homemaker and a 
member of Cool Springs Baptist Church in Doerun. She was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Blondell Eubanks.

 Survivors include her husband, William Bill Grantham of Doerun; a daughter, 
Juanita Pierson and husband Robert of Moultrie; two stepdaughters, Brabara Kent 
and husband Jake, of Moultrie and Brenda Harrell and husband Wayne, of Meigs; 
three stepsons, Jerry Grantham of Hartsfield, Doyle Grantham and wife Nancy and 
Robert Grantham and wife Amy, all of Doerun; a sister, Jewell Herndon of 
Moultrie; and several grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Dovie was born to Elisha "Squire" Howard and Nettie Mae "Minnie" Truluck Howard.
