                  Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Kent
 Funeral services for Mrs. Turner Kent, 34, who died Saturday at a local 
hospital, were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church.
 Burial was in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Alex Herring and the Rev. 
A. E. Abbott officiating.
 Pallbearers were P. J. Clark, Ralph Pope, Rufus Cannon, Berry Plymel, Ray 
Bailey, M. W. Parker. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Strickland, M. K. 
Hunnicutt, C. W. Lindsey Jr., Paul Simpson, J. D. Herndon, O. A. Searcy, and 
Henry Crane.
 Mrs. Kent is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Rosa J. Calhoun of 
Moultrie; two brothers, Cecil Calhoun of Valdosta and Willard Calhoun of Pavo 
Route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil McMullin of Moultrie Route 5 and Mrs. Steve 
Delmar of Pensacola, Fla.

Additional Comments:
Odell was born 16 Dec 1918 ( date is from the cemetery listing; however, the 
1920 and 1930 census data would indicate she was born in 1919) to John Cecil 
Calhoun Sr. and Rosa Della Johnston Calhoun. Georgia death certificate #02834.
