King James Bill King, 73, of Tifton, died Saturday in the Veteran's Hopsital at Lake City, Fla. after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held 3pm Tuesday in the chapel at Tiftarea Funeral Home with burial following in Westview Cemetery in Moultrie. Rev. Dewey Adamson will officiate. Mr. King was a native of Turner County and was born on January 31, 1904, He had resided in Tifton for the past 25 years. A retired farmer, Mr. King was a veteran of WW II and a member of the VFW. Survivors include two brothers, Jack King of Moultrie and David King of College Park and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Blair of Tifton and Mrs. Maggie Tucker of College Park. Additional Comments: James was born to Green Lovett King and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Calhoun King.
