 Ruby Mae Taylor Murphy, 72, of Quitman, formerly of Albany and Moultrie, died 
May 1, 2004 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman.

 Born April 1, 1932 in Grady County to the late Jourdan L. and Berta Gefford 
Taylor, she was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

 Survivors include four daughters, Kay Hunter and Debbie Darby, both of Hahira, 
Tina Bennett of Satsuma, FL and Joy Whitten of Albany; one sister, Velma Oleane 
Tharpe of Albany; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

 Funeral services were May 4 at 4 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. 
Julian Griner officiating. 

 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Charles Whitfield, Jim Murphy, Jeff Holcombe, Buddy Allen, 
Billy Taylor, Guy Martin.

 Cobb Funeral Chapel of Moultrie was in charge of arrangements.
