The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Banks Funeral Home with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery. Dr. Tom Jacobs and the Rev. Steve Williams will officiate. A native of Turner County, Mr. Bryan, was born May 17, 1911, to the late Charles William Bryan and Mae Bledsoe Bryan. He was the widower of Lillie Thornhill Bryan who preceded him in death October 17, 1970. Mr. Bryan has lived in Worth County most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Charlotte Surrency, Evelyn Golden, Joyce Beebe and Sue Rouse,all of Sylvester, and Linda Bryan of Ithaca, NY; seven grandchildren, Al Surrancy, Pattey Daniel, Bryan Golden, Tom Golden, Allison Warren, Brandi Rouse and Benjamin Craddock; and five great-grandchildren. A son Donal Bryan preceded him in death on April 19, 2001. The family will receive friens 7p.m. - 8 p.m., today at Banks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Albany Community Hospice, 2332 Lake Park Drive, Albany, GA 31707. William Washington Bryan was the son of Magruder and Martha Bryan of Macon Co.,GA and the brother of Martha Bryan who married Caleb F. Hill and Elizabeth Bryan who married Green Berry Johnson. Charles William Bryan's uncle William M. Bryan lived in Turner Co., GA and is buried in the Henderson Cemetery in Turner Co., GA.
