State of Georgia

This Indenture made and entered into this twenty ninth day of December one 
thousand eight hundred & thirty five between William S. Dunn of the County of 
Columbia and State aforesaid of the one part and Patrick Dougherty of the 
County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William S. 
Dunn for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred twenty five dollars to 
him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day 
granted bargained sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell & convey 
unto Patrick Dougherty of the County and State aforesaid all that tract or 
parcel of land situate lying & being in the County and State aforesaid 
containing thirty five and three quarters acres more or less and bounded on the 
North & West by lands of said Dougherty and Elias Wellborn as will more fully 
appear by a plat hereunto annexed  To have & to hold the said tract or parcel 
of land to his own proper use benefit &c forever and the said William S. Dunn 
doth warrant & forever defend the said tract or parcel of land unto the said 
Patrick Dougherty his heirs and assigns against himself his heirs & assigns or 
every other person or persons whatsoever  In testimony whereof the said 
Williams S. Dunn hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day and date above 
written.
