Dunn to Thomas Harden Georgia Columbia County This Indenture made the thirtieth day of October eighteen hundred and twenty three between George W. Dunn of the one part and Thomas Harden of the other part both of the county and State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said George W. Dunn for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and fifty six dollars to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Harden at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain bargain sell alien, release and confirm unto the said Thomas Harden his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Columbia and State aforesaid on the waters of Kegg Creek adjoining lands of Edmond Cartledge, Estate of O. Prudzil Pace, William B. Lake, and a tract of land formerly belonging to Waters I. Dunn containing one hundred and fifty six acres being the same more or less. Together will all and singular the rights members and appurtenances hereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said tract of land and premises and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Thomas Harden his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof the said tract or parcel of land and premises and any part or parcel thereof unto the said Thomas Harden his heirs and executors and administrators I do by these presents warrant and forever defend against the claim or claims demands of all and every person or persons whatever.
