All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Bob & Linda Ellis http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00017.html#0004075 February 12, 2010, 6:51 pm Written: May 30, 1797 Waters Dunn To William Dunn 1797 Deed in trust State Of Georgia Columbia County This indenture made this 30th day of May in the year of or lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven Between Waters Dunn Senr. of the county and State aforesaid of the one part and William Dunn of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Waters Dunn for diverse good causes and consideration him hereunto naming but more especially for and inconsideration of the sum of five shillings to him in hand paid Receipt whereof the said Waters Dunn doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold and by these resents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said William Dunn four negro slaves to wit Hannah, Tom, Sally and Isaac To have and to hold the said slaves and all their increases to the said Dunn and to his executors and administrators In Special trust and confidence Never the less that the said Dunn his heirs and executors and administrators shall suffer Milly Saterwhite now wife of William Saterwhite of the county aforesaid freely and fully to receive and use the profits arising from the labors of the said slaves from time to time as shall be most for the ease and benefit of the said Milly Saterwhite during her natural life and shall also after the death of the said Milly Saterwhite convey full and absolutely the said slave and their increase equally between Sally, William, Thomas, Betsey, Nancy and Polly __ William Saterwhite son & daughters to their survivor or survivors of them at the death of the said Milly Saterwhite.
