Recorded 14th July 1800

This indenture made this twenty ninth day of January in the year of our Lord 
one thousand seven hundred & ninety nine between Thomas Edmundson of the state 
of Georgia & County of Columbia of the one part & Waters Dunn of said state and 
County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Edmondson for and in 
consideration of the sum of seventy dollars seventy five cents to him in hand 
truly paid by the said Waters Dunn at or before the sealing and delivery of 
these presents the receipt whereof is here by acknowledged have granted 
bargained sold and confirm these presents do grant, bargain ,sell release & 
confirm unto the said Waters Dunn  his heirs and assigns all that tract or 
parcel of land containing thirty three acres lying and being in Columbia County 
on the waters of Green Brier Creek butting and bounding and beginning on a pine 
corner on said Dunn, land thence south fifty eight west to a persimmon thence 
North nineteen west to a stake and black jack thence North fifty eight east to 
a stake and post oak thence South thirty two east to the beginning it being 
part of a two hundred acre tract granted to Peter Lawrance surveyed fourth 
March one thousand seven hundred & seventy three reference to the grant will 
more fully appear together with all and singular the rights members and 
appurtenances there of whatsoever to the said tract of land being belonging or 
in any wise appertaining and the remainders reversions, rents issues and 
profits and every part thereof to have and to hold the said tract of land and 
all & singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid 
and every part thereof unto the said Waters Dunn his heirs and assigns forever 
and the said Thomas Edmundson & his heirs the tract of land and premises 
aforesaid & every part thereof unto the said Waters Dunn his heirs & assigns 
against him the said Thomas Edmondson and his heirs and shall and will warrant 
& forever defend by these present’s In witness whereof the said Thomas 
Edmundson has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above 
written.

		Received the day & year first within written of and from the 
within named Waters Dunn the sum of seventy dollars seventy-five cents being 
the consideration money within mentioned I say received by me

saw Thomas Edmondson sigh & deliver the within deed of conveyance and also that 
he saw Caty Dunn & Waters D the Younger subscribe their  names as witnesses to
