This is a deed to property from Randolph, Ramsey, Jr., to his son James 
Ramsey who married Priscilla Hassell 18 October 1803 in Columbia County.

1815, January 11 Randal Ramsey Deed to James Ramsey 

Know all men by these presents that I Randal Ramsey of the State of 
Georgia and County of Columbia hath for the good will and affection I 
bear to my beloved son James Ramsey doth give a certain tract or parcel 
of land containing by Estimation one hundred and thirty five acres be the 
sum more of less lying and being in the County of Columbia on the waters 
of Little River which said land was conveyed from Isham Bayless to me and 
was granted to Robert Graves the fourth day of October which was in the 
year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy four and I the 
said Randal Ramsey doth forever defend the said land to him and his heirs 
and assigns forever from me, my heirs or assigns or any other persons for 
him to have and to hold with all the improvements thereunto belonging. In 
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 
interchangeably This fifth day of October Eighteen hundred & twelve
