Martin Mellown and John Grubbs . to James Ramsay--Deed Recorded 19th July 1806 This Indenture made the third day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and five-- and in the Twenty ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America..between William Ramsay, Randall Ramsay, Jeremiah Duckworth, Martin Malone, and John Grubbs of different Countys in the State of Georgia of the one part--and James Ramsay of the County of Columbia and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth ( Note the above named as Sellers and Purchaser, are all Brothers and sisters Husbands, and their father John Ramsay died without Will, which gave them an equal Right to all common Stocks) the said party above mentioned ..for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Dollars to them in hand well and truly paid by the said James Ramsay at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents . The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the above named William Ramsay ,Randall Ramsay, Jeremiah Duckworth, Martin Malone, and John Gubbs. hath bargained and Sold --and by these presents doth bargain & Sell unto the Said James Ramsay all that Tract of Land .. containing one hundred acres, be the same more or less lying and being in the County of Columbia and State aforesaid, but when granted St. Paul Parish to John Ramsay on the 19th January one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Three, on the Little Kioke Creek .. bounded Westwardly by James McFarland's Land and on all other Sides by vacant Land as the Grant will more fully appear. . together with all and Singular the hereditments, Rights, members and appertinances, thereunto belonging to or any wise appertaining and the revision and revisions.. remainder and remainders..Rents assets and profits thereof and every part thereof To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land.. and all and Singular other premises above mentioned--and hereby intended to be bargained and Sold with this and any of the Rights Members and appertenances unto the Said James Ramsay his heirs & assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the Said James Ramsay his Heirs and assigns forever and the said William Ramsay , Randolph Ramsay, Jeremiah Duckworth, Martin Malone and John Grubbs, for themselves and their heirs ..the Tract of Land and premises aforesaid unto the said James Ramsay his Heirs and assigns... and the Said William Ramsay, Randolph Ramsay, Jeremiah Duckworth, Martin Malone, & John Grubbs and their Heirs and assigns.. Shall Warrant and defend all and every part thereof from all persons whatsoever to the said James Ramsay his Heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
