Witnesseth that the said Edward Telfair for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Wm Dunn at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said William Dunn his Heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing three hundred acres situated lying and being in the Parish of St. Paul now County of Columbia and State aforesaid bounded at the time of survey on all sides by vacant land originally granted to Michael Ilby(?) the 4th day of October 1774 and by him conveyed to William Candler the second day of August 1776 and by the said William Candler conveyed to the said Edward Telfair the 19 day of January 1780 Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land being belonging or in any wise appertaining and the remainders reversions rents issues and profits thereof and of any part thereof To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid and any part thereof unto him the said William Dunn his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said William Dunn his heirs and assigns forever and the said Edward Telfair and his heirs the said tract of land premises aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said William Dunn his heirs and assigns against the said Edward Telfair and his heirs and all every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
