MEDICAL COLLEGE OF GEORGIA.

 [Corner Telfair and Washington streets.]

  This institution went into operation in the fall of 1832. It has a board of 24
trustees and a faculty of 7 professors. The annual course of Lectures will begin
on the first Monday in November. The first course of lectures was attended by 27
students in 1832. In 1858 it had 4 graduates.

  Faculty.—H V M Miller, M D; Emeritus Professor of Anatomy; H F Campbell, M D,
Professor of Anatomy; L ADugas, M D, Professor of Surgery; Joseph Jones,
Professor of Chemistry and Pharmacy; J P Garvin, M D, Professor of Materia
Medica, Therapeutics and Medical Jurisprudence; L D Ford, M D, Professor of
Institutes and Practice of Medicines; S D Simmons, M D, Assistant Demonstrator;
H W D Ford, M D, Prosector to Prof Surgery; J A Eave, M D, Prof of Obstetrics;
Robert Campbell, M D, Demonstrator of Anatomy; S P Cleveland, Curator of Museum.
