The funeral will be at 4 PM today at Old Union Baptist Church, with the Rev Phil Pilgrim and the Rev Billy Widener officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs Story was a native and livelong resident of Columbia County. She is the oldest member of Old Union Baptist Church and was a former church pianist. Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth S Sweatman, and Thelma S Levesque, Harlem, and Ruby S Partridge, Lincolnton, GA; three sons, Chester Story, Richard Story, Harlem, and Vance Early Story, Evans; a sister, Edna L O'Pry, Harlem; and a brother, Vance Earl Logan, Augusta. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Friends may call at the Richard Story residence, Old Union Road, the Prather Funeral Home until 3 pm, and then at the church.
