Chester A Logan
HARLEM, Ga-Chester A Logan, 81, died Monday at his residence.
The funeral will be held at 3:30 pm today at Old Union Baptist Church, Columbia 
County, with the Rev Billy Widener officiating.  Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.
Mr Logan was a native of McDuffie County but had lived in Columbia County most 
of his life.  He was a retired building contractor, past master of Harlem 
Masonic Lodge and a member of Old Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Gussie Story Logan; one daughter, Mrs Mildred L 
McCall, Augusta; one son, Henry S Logan, Martinez; two sisters, Mrs Emmie 
Storey, Mrs Edna O'Pry, Harlem; and one brother, Earl Logan, Augusta.
Pallbearers will be Richard Storey, John A Logan, Vance Logan, Kent Logan, 
Sterling Jordan and Echols Sweatman.
Friends may call at the residence of Mr and Mrs Henry S Logan, or at Curtis 
Funeral Home, Thomson, GA, until one prior to the service and then at the 
church.
