Mrs. Alex H. Stephens

Martinez, GA---Mrs. Ammie Lou Sheppard Stephens of Lonergan 
Drive, died Thursday at her residence after an extended 
illness.Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the 
chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with the Revs. Lucius 
Cato, Carl Shurte and J.M. Stubblefield officiating. Burial 
will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.She was a native of 
Jefferson County, but had lived in Martinez for 18 years. 
She was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Alex H. Stephens; two 
daughters, Mrs. Maude Malin, Augusta, and Mrs. Sara Hill, 
Martinez; one son, Joe H. Stephens, Augusta; two brothers, 
John Stephens, Jefferson County, Jeff Stephens, Glascock 
County; one sister, Bessie Sales, Augusta.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
