To wit First, It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid. Secondly, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah L. all my estate both real and personal consisting of two hundred fifty acres of land lying & being in the County of Early, second district, Number ninety five, Three negroes, a fellow by the name of Cyrus, a girl by the name of Mira their increase and boy by the name of Jim, horses, cattle, hogs, household & kitchen furniture &c &c to have, hold & be enjoyed by her during her natural life or widowhood but in either event. The whole of my Estate real & personal as above described shall revert to my Estate and be equally divided between my three children Thomas Dancy, Edward Russell, & Farley Adams and in case of the death of either of my said children, before they arrive at lawful age my desire is that it being equally divided between the survivors and if but one arrive at age that he shall have the whole of my Estate to be enjoyed by him, his heirs and assigns forever. Thirdly. My will and desire is that my executors hereafter named shall appropriate the proceeds arising from my said Estate after the support and maintenance of my family, to the education of my children, as before named Lastly, I do nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved wife Sarah L. Adams and my brother William Adams my sole executors to carry this my last will & testament into effect, hereby revoking and annulling all former Will or Wills by me made, ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last will & testament In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 30th day of August 1825 Signed sealed & acknowledged in the presence of (1st page 16th line, words their increase, 2nd page, 9 line, words Estate is interlined before assigned Thomas I. Bugg (on right side) Farley Adams (LS) Georgia Columbia County In the Court of Ordinary Augustus Crawford & Reuben Grimes two of the subscribing witnesses to the within instrument of writing after being duly sworn on the Gospels of almighty God Saith that they were present and saw Farley Adams in life subscribe the within instrument as his last will and testament and that the testator was of sound mind and disposing memory at the time of subscribing the same and that they subscribed the same at the request of said testator and saw Thomas I. Bugg who was present subscribe the same as a witness thereto Sworn in open Court the 5th day of December 1825 A. Crawford Reuben Grimes J.V.?
