MONDAY MARCH 2, 1818

Polly Bowdre the widow of the late Samuel Bowdre deceased tendered her 
election which was ordered to be entered on the minutes in the 
following words to wit:
Georgia}
Columbia County}  To the honorable the Court of Ordinary for said 
County.

This is to certify that I now make my election of dower on thirds of 
both real and personal property belonging to the estate of Samuel 
Bowdre my deceased husband.  In virtue whereof I have hereunto set my 
hand and seal this 22nd January 1818.

Thomas Bowdre administrator of the estate of Samuel Bowdre deceased 
tendered his account for settlement with the court which was received, 
proven & ordered to be recorded.
