Be it known to all whome it may concern that I, Milley bowdre widow of 
Elisha Bowdre, by the power vested in me in the virtue of my husband's 
will bearing date the second day of July Seventeen hundred and ninty 
one do make ordain constitute and creaate Robert Bowdre my true and 
lawful agent for me and in my sted to act and manage all matters and 
things relative my affairs and concerns particularly the final 
settlement of the estate both real and personel of Elisha Bowdre, decd.  
I give him full power and authority to have the aforesaid estate both 
real and personel sold and make an equal distribution of the sum among 
my children who are the legatees of said estate reserving and 
preserving one child's part for my self.  Finally---------------and for 
so doing this shall be a full and sufficient power and authority for 
said  Robert Bowdre.

Given under my hand and seal this 10th day of August 1795  MILLEY 
BOWDRE
