This file was contributed by: Pauleta Hicks pauleta@comanchetx.com ======================================================================= MARCH 24, 1827 The following receipt was examined and approved by the court and ordered to be recorded to wit: Georgia} Columbia County} This is to certify that I have received from my guardian Benjamin bugg the following property, real and personal, embracing certain negro property deeded to me by my father, Edmund Bugg, decd together with my distributive share of the real and personal estate of Edmund Bugg decd. as partitioned by the distributors of said estate togeether with the balance of notes due me for the renting and hire of my property to wit the following negroes: Susan, Abram, peggy, Luke, Peter, Sally, two hundred and thirty acres of land more or less in Columbia County known in the distribution of the real estate of said Edmond Bugg as Lot No. five. together with the following promissory notes to wit: Micajah Bond & Peter H. Collins note for #32.50 due on the 25th December 1826 with a credit of $10 endorsed 13th October 1826. Micajah Bond & Peter H. collins three notes for thirty dollars each due 25th December 1826. & John C. Talbert & Isaac Ramsey three notes two of them for $30 each and the other for $18.50 all ue on the 25th December 1826. The sum being in full of all claims and demands which I have against the said Benjamin Bugg as guardian aforesaid. In witness whereof I have set my hand this 24th day of March AD 1827. Charles F.
