This file was contributed by: Marilyn Jean Cliett jean123321@netzero.net ==================================================================== Georgia Columbia County Know all men by these present that we Henry Cliett, Jehu Cliett and John Cliett are held and firmly bound unto their Honors the Justices of the Inferior Court for said county and their successors in office in the just and full sum of five thousand dollars for the use of Artemesia Zachry which payment will truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs executors and adminstrators firmly by these presents sealed with our seal and dated this 4th day of August 1823. Whereas this above named Henry Cliett was on the fourth day of August appointed by the Honarable Chief Justices of this Inferior Court of the county aforesaid guardian of the person and property of Artemesia Zachry a minor & orphan child of William Zachry late of said county decrased. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if this aabove gounded Henry Cliett shall will truly and faithfully do, execute and perform all and singular the duties reguired of him by law as guardian aforsaid that the above obligation to be void also be remain in full force Take & acknowledged in open court this 4 August 1823 Test H.
