This file was contributed by: Pattie Causey pacausey@mindspring.com ==================================================================== NEAEL DOUGHERTY "In the name of God Amen, I Neael Dougherty of the County of Columbia & State of Georgia being in perfect health, mind & memory, thanks be given unto God, Calling unto mind the the mortality of my body, and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die; do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament That is to say, principally & first of all, I give & commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it, & my body I recommend to the Earth, to be buried in decent Christian burial, at the discretion of my Executor, hereafter named, nothing doubting, but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same by the mighty power of God! And as Touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life; I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner To Wit.----------- First, I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann, the walnut Desk to be Sepperate and apart from an equal division.------- Secondly It is my wish and desire that all my just debts be paid--- Thirdly & Lastly It is my will & desire that all the balance of my estate, both real and personal, Household & Kitchen furniture plantation tools, Horses, Cattle & Hogs, be equally divided among my five daughters namely Ann, Martha Huchingson, Elizabeth, Sarah, & Eleanor----- And I do hereby appoint & ordain Patrick Dougherty & Thomas Hamilton, Executors to this my last Will & Testament, as Witness my hand & Seal this Seventh day of February one thousand Eight hundred & twenty four --------- Neail Dougherty (LS) Test Patrick Dougherty David L.
