HENRY HAND

"in the name of god I henry hand se? of the County of Columbia and state of 
georgia being tho the abundant mercys and goodness god tho Weake in body yet 
of a sound and perfect understanding and memory Do constitute this my last 
will and testament and Desire it may be received as such first I most humbly 
bequeath my sole to god my maker beseaching his most gracios receptanc of it 
through the all soficant? merets and medation of my most Compasconet redeemer 
Jesus Christ ho gave himself to be anatomment for my sins and is able to save 
to the utermost all that Come unt god by him searing he ever Liveth to make 
intercession for them and ho I trust will not reject me a returning penatent 
sinner when I come to him for mercy in this hope and confedanc I render up my 
sole with Camfort humbly beseaching the most Blessed and glorous trinity one 
god most holy most mercy full and gracios to prepare me for the time of my 
desolution and then to take me to him self into that peace and rest !

and incomparable? felicity for? which he has prepared for all that ? and ? 
him holy name amen blessed Be god I give my body to the Earth from whence it 
was taken in full assurance of its resuration from thence at the Last day as 
for burial I desire it may be Deccent with out pomp or state at the 
Descrrtion of my Deare Wife and my executors hereafter named ho I doubt not 
will manage with all requset prudenc as to my Worly Estate I will and order 
that all my debts Be paid final give to my Deare and Loveing Wife Sarah hand 
the house wherein I now Live with all the furniture land and tenements Cattle 
hogs for the term of her Life and after her death to my soninlaw Jabish 
newberrey all but one Cow and Calf I desire shall be given to my grandaughter 
gemima Nelson item I give to robert hand five shillings item I give to my son 
henry hand five shillings item I give to my son John hand the sum of five 
shillings item I give to my soninlaw James nelson five shillings item I give 
to my soninlaw henry newberry five shillings item I give to my Daughter Lidy? 
nelson five shillings and all and Every part and thing Belonging to my estate 
to Jabish newbery and his heirs forever and I do make my wife sarah hand 
Executrix and-- I do Constitute this and no other to be my last will and 
testament in Witness whare of I have hereonto set my hand and seal this 
seventh day of february in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred 
and ten
