First I bequeath my soul to my most merciful Savior and Redeemer, and my body to be committed to the Earth at the discretion of my Executors ~ and touching such worldly property as the Governor of the Universe has endowed me with, I dispose of the same as follows ~ It is my will that all the few debts I owe do be speedily and justly paid. 1 It is my will that my well beloved wife Jannet Hunt shall possess and enjoy my whole Estate during her natural life, She to leave my real Estate taken good care of, my negroes and stock of all kinds, She is to enjoy the use of during her life as aforesaid and the two negroes Jude and Jinny I bequeath to her and her heirs and assigns forever. 2d It is also my Will that as the decease of my wife all my Estate real and personal shall become the Bona fide property of Henry Hunt and Constance Hunt the children of my Brother Thomas decd. to be held by them share and share alike, and should one of them die before my wife, and the other survive, the survivor to possess the whole Estate in as full and ample a manner as I now possess the same; and should both of them die before the decease of my wife then and in that case the whole of my Estate as aforesaid (Jude and Jinny excepted) shall become the property of Thomas White and William White, children of Thomas White Senr. share and share alike as in the aforesaid Item, after the decease of my wife and not before And I do hereby nominate and appoint my well and truly beloved wife, my executrix and my friends and neighbors James Ray Esqr and James Lovelace Executors to carry my will aforesaid into effect according to the most simple and easy meaning thereof, revoking and disannulling all former Wills or Will whatsoever In Witness whereof I do to these presents set my hand and affix my seal this fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine William Hunt Sealed, Signed, and delivered in the presence of Cyntha (her mark) Roberson Wm Burkham James Stapler William Stapler" (probate on inside right page of will - 1 Jan 1810) also - "Ordinaries Office Jan 10th 1810 Registered in Book H fol. 183, 184, 185 & 186 A.?
