I, Lettetia King, being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory and calling to mind that it is appointed for all men once to die do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament vis: Item, I give and bequeath to my son John King, four head of hogs and two head of sheep and one side saddle. Item, I give and bequeath to Walter Maddox four head of hogs and two head of sheep & thirteen dollars in cash. Item, I give to my son, Samuel King, four head of hogs and two head of sheep. Item, And to my son, Richard, I give one gray mare and one brown horse dolt and fifty bushels of corn. Item, I give to my son Henry, the young bay mare and one gold ring and fifty bushels of corn. Item, I give to my son, Stephen, one iron gray filly and one feather bed & furniture and one gold ring and the balance of the crop after the other legatees gets their parts the balance of the crop of corn and cotton. Item, And all my wearing apparel I give to Sally Barnes, wife of John Barnes and Letty King and the two orphans of Zephariah Athey to be equally divided between them. Item, I give my spinning wheel to Letty Athey. Item, I give to Milley Athey one tea kettle & Smoothing Iron. Item, I give the balance of my household furniture and stock to my three sons to be equally divided between them after all the just debts are paid viz: Stephen Henry & Richard King and to this my last will and testament I do hereby appoint as my Executor to see the same put into execution my two sons Henry and Stephen King and John Shackleford and do hereby revoke all other wills and testaments by me made heretofore.
