I, Patsey Moore, of the County of Columbia in the State aforesaid, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do constitute, make and ordain this to be my last will and testament:-to wit. I, devise and request that all of my legal debts be speedily paid after my death and after their payment I give and bequeath unto my beloved Grandson, Anderson Moore Crawford, the son of Simmons Crawford and my deceased daughter Permela all the rest and residue of my estate of whatsoever kind it may consist, whether real or personal to him and to the heirs os said Anderson M. forever. I hereby constitute and appoint the said Anderson M. Crawford my sole executor, hereby revoking all and every will or wills heretofore made by me and confirming and ratifying this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I, the said Patsey Moore have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of September-A.D. 1842 Patsey Moore (seal) Signed, sealed and pronounced bt testatrix to be her last will & testament in our presence: Nathan Crawford Gabriel Jones William A. Martin Georgia} Columbia County} Personally appeared Nathan Crawford who being duly sworn on the Holy Bible desposith and saith that he saw Patsey Moore the testatrix sign seal pronounce the within instrument as her last will & testament, that the testatrix was of sound mind & memory at the time of doing the same and that he with Gabriel Jones and William Martin signed the same as witnesses in the presence of each other & that the signatures of Mr.Gabriel Jones in two instances is genuine. Nathan Crawford Sworn to in open court March 1852 S. Crawford, ordinary Georgia} Columbia County} Dr. William A. Martin being sworn saith he saw Patsey Moore sign seal & pronounce the within instrument as her will & that she was of sound mind & disposing memory at the time of signing the same & that he with Gabriel Jones & Nathan Crawford signed the same as witnesses in the presence of the testatrix & in the presence of each other & that the signatures of Gabriel Jones is genuine.
