Will of John Peeke, Jr. 27 Mar 1805 John Peeke Jrn Recorded 27th March 1805 To L L Peeke & L T Peeke Know all men by these present, that I John Peeke Jun. of Columbia County and State of Georgia In Consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bear unto beloved children Luranea Lewis Peeke & Louisana Thomas Peeke and also for Divers (reasons). These good causes and considerations me the said John Peeke Jun hereunto m__ing, have given, granted & confirmed, and by these present, do give grant and confirm unto the said Lurana Lewis Peeke and Louisana Thomas Peeke all and singular My goods and chattles, six Negroes to wit, Daniel Ned, Tukhey, Monday, Deliea, Priss, four feather bed, & furniture, one bufat, one side board, and all the residue of my household furniture, one sorrel horse sadle bridle two cows and calves, , and personal estate whatsoever in whose hands, custody or possession soever they be, within the State of Georgia. To have hold and enjoy all and singular the said goods, chattels & personal estate aforesaid unto the said Laurana L. Peeke & Louisana T. Peeke, their executors and assigns forever. And I John Peeke Jun all and Singular the said goods & chattle, Personal Estate and other the premises to the said Lusana L. Peeke & Louissana T. Peeke their executors, administraters and assigne against me the said John Peeke Jun my executors and administraters, and all & every other person & persons whomsoever Shall & will warrant and forever defend by these present of all and singular which said goods, chattle, personal estate and (? other) the premises. I the said John Peek Jun have put the said Lurana L. Peek & Louisana T. Peeke in full posession, by delivering to them one Negro girl Priss at the time of sealing and delivery of these present in the name of the whole premises, named hereby Grants and whereas for very good reason I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John Lamken as Guardian or trustee to the person and property of my beloved children Lurana L Peeke & Louisanna T. Peeke until they shall arrive to the State of Matrimony or attain to the age of twenty one years in witness whereof I have Signed sealed and delivered in presents of us Henry Peeke Leo.d M. Peeke John Peeke Jun Memorandum, the day and year first within written.... of the goods by the within written deed Bargained and sold, was delivered by the said John Peeke to the said Lurana L Peeke & Louisanna T. Peeke by giving and delivering to the said Lurana L. Peeke & Louisanna T. Peeke one Negro girl named Priss in the name of the whole goods and premises sold Sealed and delivered in the presents of Henry Peeke Leod M.
