Will of William Willingham 25 Oct 1797 Columbia County, GA The Last Will and Testament of William Willingham Of Columbia County, Georgia In the name of God amen I William Willingham of the County of Columbia and State of Georgia being sick and weak of Body but of perfect mind and memory do make and appoint this my Last Will and Testament Imp. First of all I submit my body to the Earth and recommend my soul into the hands of almighty God who gave it Tuching my worldly Estate after my Body has a descent Christian Burial I dispose of the same in the following manner Imp. I lend unto my beloved wife Nancey Willingham my Estate both Real and Personal during her Natural life or widowhood to raise my Children on I gave unto every one of my Children as they come of age or marry Sixty Dollars in property except Elijah and Thomas who has already had their Sixty Dollars if it can conveniently be speared when they come of age if not I desire after my wifes death that each of them shall Receive their Sixty Dollars first I gave and bequeath unto all my Children after my wifes decease or marriage all the remainder of my Estate both Real and Personal Viz. Elijah Thomas Fanney Elizabeth Beaverly George John William Nancey Caleph Patcy Judah and Isaac To be equally Divided among them all Lastly I appoint my wife Nancey Willingham Isaac Willingham and Eli Garnet my Executors to this my Last Will and Testament and do revoke and Disanul all Wills made heretofore by me - In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 25th day of October 1797. In the presence of William Willingham William Jones John Eubank Georgia Columbia County Personally appeared Willaim Jones and John Eubank who being duly sworn made oath that they were personally present and saw the within Testator William Willingham deceased sign the within instrument of writing and acknowledged it to be and contain his last Will & Testament and that he was of sound mind and disposing memory to the last of their knowledge & belief and that they signed their names to the same as witnesses to the same at the request of the Testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other Sworn to before me William Jones the 11th day of Jany 1798 John Eubank Lewis Gardner R.P.
