    CENTENNIAL EDITION - THE ADEL NEWS
                   Adel, Cook County, Georgia
                         April 22, 1973
                      Dr. Fred N. Clements
     Dr. Fred N. Clements, a graduate of sparks-Adel High School (now
Cook High) received an A. B. degree from Mercer University in Macon. 
His preparation for medicine was at the University of Georgia Medical
College where he graduated in 1943.  He served his internship for
three years in the Army Medical Associatin of Georgia, American
Academy of Family Practive, and American Academy of Industrial
Physicians.  He has served two terms as president of the South
Georgia Medical Society.
     Dr. Clements is married to the former Miss Ann Nolan of Macon. 
They have three children, Cindy, Nelson and Carol.
