                CENDENNIAL EDITION - THE ADEL NEWS
                    Adel, Cook County, Georgia
                            April 22, 1973
                         Dr. L. R. Hutchinson
     Dr. Hutchison married the former Miss Thelma Wilkes in 1921. 
Patricia Jean Hutchison, now Mrs. Burnice Whitehurst of Atlanta, is
their only daughter. For nearly two years they lived in Little River,
Florida, returning to Adel in December, 1926.
     Dr. W. H. Clements and Dr. Hutchison operated the hosptial in
the present Woman's Club Building for almost ten years.  In 1946, Dr.
Hutchison built office and 8-room climic adjacemt to the First Bank
of Adel.  This was in operatonal until the present Memorial Hospital
was built.
     Dr. Hutchison is held in warm affection by peole throught Cook
County Cook.  His death came in 1952.
