 Thelma Gandy Browning, 86, of Adel died December 4, 2005 at Memorial 
Convalescent Center of Adel.
 Born July 30, 1919 in Colquitt County to the late John and Belle Williams 
Gandy, she was a homemaker and was retired from Nashville Mills. She was a 
member of Springhead Baptist Church and was married to the late Elton Browning.
 Survivors include son, Donald Browning of Adel; two sisters, Roger Lee Winn of 
Adel and Fronie Fields of Santa Barbara, CA; eight grandchildren, 10 great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held December 7 at 11 a.m. at Antioch United Methodist 
Church with Rev. Robert Lawrence officiating.
 Interment was in Antioch Church Cemetery.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
