Still Burn Center in Augusta. Born January 11, 1931 to the late Alvin Thomas and Lessie Anna Teague Cain, he served in the United States Navy as a Navy Seabea and was a Civil Service locksmith with Moody Air Force Base. He attended Beulah Holiness Baptist Church and First Assembly of God in Adel. Survivors include his wife, Edna Roland Cain of Sparks; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve Cain of Las Vegas, NV, Chris and Judi Cain of Nashville, and Darien and Tiffany Cain of Sparks; two sisters, Earline Webb of Valdosta and Jewel Robinson of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Laken Cain, Chad Cain, Rachel Cain, Shawn Cain and Kyle Cain; a special sister-in- law, Clara Cain of Sparks. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Thomas Duke Cain and Joseph Ralph Cain. A graveside service with military rites was held June 7 at Sparks Cemetery with Rev. Chris Newbern officiating. Active pallbearers were Chad Cain, Earl Cain, Mark Robinson, Randy Cain, Junior Roland, and Kenneth Robinson, "Amazing Grace" was sung by the congregation. Purvis Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
