Born July 19, 1935 in Shell Lake, WI to the late Oren and Lottie M. Daniels, he had lived in Cook County for the past 30 years. He was retired from Tally- Corbett Box Co. and was married to the late Violet May Monroe Daniels. Survivors include five sons, Rondo Daniels of Barron, WI, Patrick Daniels of Gowrie, IO, Andrew Daniels and Jesse Daniels both of Adel, Jerry Daniels of Lenox; three daughters, Joanna Rentz and Polly Iler, both of Adel, Margie Daniels of Tifton; one step-daughter, Tracey Harper of Nashville; one brother, David Daniels of Barrow, WI; two sisters, Ethel Mulligan and Rose Mary Daniels, both of Barrow; 19 grandchildren; one step-grandson; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 17 in the chapel of Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Buckholts officiating. Musical selections included "Amazing Grave," "Precious Memories," and "I Can Only Imagine." Interment was in Spring Hill Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry Daniels, Marty Rentz, Stanley Mintz, Marvin "Skeeter" Richardson, Robert Edgeworth, Paul Alamia. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
