  Ronnie Howard Gaskins, 73, of Adel passed away December 8, 2015, at his home.
 He was born July 29, 1942, in Berrien County to the late Manning “M.G.” and Ada 
Estelle Crosby Gaskins. He lived most of his life in Cook County where he was 
retired as the owner and operator of Gaskins Grocery Store.
 He is survived by his wife, Sandra Robinson Gaskins of Adel; a son, Jeffrey 
Scott Gaskins of Duluth; daughter Ronda Gaskins Petrin of Suwanee; four 
grandchildren, Daniel Tyler Gaskins and Kathryn Alexis Gaskins of Duluth, Morgan 
Douglas McClelland and Jacob David Petrin of Suwanee; two brothers and sisters-
in-law, Neil and Ann Gaskins of Nashville and Dennis and Kay Gaskins of 
Kissimmee, FL; a special nephew, Bobby Aalan Gaskins, Jr. of Nashville; and  a 
host of nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Howard; a brother, Bobby 
Gaskins; a sister, Geraldine Swanson.
 Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 12 at 2 p.m. in the South 
Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Newbern officiating.
 Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Berrien County.
