 Lautrell Leggett Gibbs, 85, of Thomasville died November 19, 2011 at Archbold M
Memorial Hospital.
 A homemaker, she was born October 26, 1926, in Kirkland, the daughter of the 
late H.G. Leggett and the former Cloie Cook. On January 25, 1947, in Edgefield C
County, SC, she married Oscar Gibbs, who died December 4, 1957.
 Survivors include son, George Gibbs (Diane), Thomasville; daughter, Janet 
Share, Thomasville; granddaughters, Michelle Stelly (Todd), Thomasville, Selena 
Darnell (Chris), Hilton Head Island, SC, Cassie Layton, Fort Valley; grandson, 
John Share (Beckie) Tallahassee, FL; great grandsons, Sam Stelly, Ben Stelly, Th
Thomasville; great granddaughter, Edi Darnell, Hilton Head Island; great gr
grandsons, Beau Darnell, Hilton Head Island, Wyatt Layton, Garrett Layton, Fort Va
Valley; sister, Linda Jackson (Bill) Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in de
death by her husband, parents and siblings.
 A graveside service was held on Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at Sparks Cemetery in Sparks w
with George Gibbs officiating.
 Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home of Thomasville was in charge of arrangements.
