 Virginia Register Graham, 85, of Adel, died Jan. 29, 2010, at Berrien Nursing C
Center after a long illness.
 Born Sept. 4, 1924, in Cook County to the late Jonah Nathaniel and Laura Jane 
Cook Register, she lived all her life in Cook County. She attended Beulah 
Holiness Baptist Church and was retired from Graham’s Grocery Store. She was m
married to the late Elwood Russell Graham.
 Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Neil and Jimmie Ann Young 
Graham, Adel, James David Graham, Adel,  Gaylon and Sandra Graham, Valdosta; 
sister, Georgia R. Tomlinson, Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren, seven
great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by
seven brothers, Rossie E., Aulie, Caulie, Jimmy, Otis, Benny and Aussie Register and
three sisters, Essie Cook, Lissie Wetherington and Florence Register.
 Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. in Boone
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by s
seven brothers, Rossie E., Aulie, Caulie, Jimmy, Otis, Benny and Aussie R
Register and three sisters, Essie Cook, Lissie Wetherington and Florence R
Register.
 Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. in Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home Ch
Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Matthews and Donnie Sloan officiating.
 Interment was in Beulah Church Cemetery.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
