  Mary Teresa Guthrie, 54, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday, August 
13, 2015, at the Baptist Downtown Hospital in Jacksonville.
 She was born November 6, 1960, in Jacksonville to the late Jonathan Ruel 
Guthrie and Carol Ann Guthrie Adams. She graduated from Berrien County High 
School before she moved to New York, where she worked for years at a brokerage 
firm on Wall Street.
 She was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Guthrie.
 She is survived by her devoted life partner of many years, Kevin Nelson of 
Jacksonville; her mother, Carol Ann Williams of Sparks; her brothers, Jonathan 
(Lynn)Guthrie of Holt, FL and Phillip Guthrie of Sparks, her sister, Catherine 
(Steven) Douds of Peachtree City, and many dearly loved nieces, nephews and 
cousins.
 A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 22 at Sparks First Baptist 
Church.
