 Mrs. Doris Cribb Hiers, 78, of Adel passed away July 26, 2006 at her residence.
 She was born on July 9, 1928 in Berrien County to the late Jessie Leonard and 
Mary Jane Register Luke. She lived most of her life in Cook County and was a 
retired hairdresser and attended Concord Primitive Baptist Church. She is 
preceded in death by her first husband, Charles R. Cribb.
 She is survived by her second husband, Paul Hiers of Adel; two daughters and 
sons-in-law, Judy and Gene Annis of Adel and Roma Joe and Sandy Cooper of 
Poulan;  and two step sons, Steve Hiers of Tampa, Fla. and David Hiers of Adel; 
two step-daughters, Teresa and John Jones of Moultrie and Phyllis and Mike 
England of Charleston, SC; one brother, Jessie Marlin Luke of Valdosta; one 
sister, Inez Exum of Nashville; grandchildren, Ricky and Sherrie Tripp, Tracy 
and Timmy Browning, Steve and Brenda Newbern, all of Hahira, Susan and Al 
Miller of Lee, Florida; eight great-grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, give 
step-great-grandchildren.
 Funeral service will be held Friday, July 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Boone-Lipsey 
Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Buck Wood officiating. Burial will be held in 
Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 
7-9 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home, Hwy. 41 South. — Boone-Lipsey Funeral
