 Paul Jeffrey "Bodean" Hood, 46, of Sparks, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 
2005, at his residence after a lengthy illness. 

 He was born Nov. 23, 1959, in Adel to Betty Hood of Sparks and the late Aubrey 
Pafford. Mr. Hood was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved NASCAR racing. 

 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sheila Brown Hood of 
Sparks; his step-mother, Joyce Pafford; three sons, James Hood of Sparks, 
Michael Hood of Adel and Jeffrey Hood of Sparks; four brothers, Earl Pafford of 
Tifton, Mike Pafford of Nashville, David Pafford of Nashville and Greg Hadsock 
of Nashville; one granddaughter, Angel Hood. 

 He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Pafford; grandparents, J.W. and 
Nettie Clyde Hood; two uncles, Bill Hood and Jerry Hood. 

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at Massee 
Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Joiner and the Rev. Terry Reagin officiating.    
Interment will follow at Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends from 6-9 p.m. this evening at Purvis Funeral Home. 

 Pallbeaarers were J.W. Brown, Donny Brown, Nicky Griffin, Dewayne Mathis, 
Lamar Grimsley and Joe Joiner.

 Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
