 Lounell Bullard Johnson, 77, of Adel died January 30, 2013, at Berrien County 
Hospital.
 Born July 13, 1935, to the late Claude Lawson “Dink: Bullard and Isabelle 
Walker Bullard Jones, she lived most of her live in Adel and was a homemaker. 
She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William 
Elwood “Bill” Johnson and two sons, Kevin and Dale Johnson.
 Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Ronnie Spires of 
Nashville and Sheila and Darlow Maxwell of Albany; eight grandchildren, Paula 
and Glenn Simmons and Wendy and Greg Wingate, all of Adel, Taryn Moore of 
Albany, Matt Spires, Adam Spires, Ryan Spires, Brianna Johnson and Garrett 
Johnson, all of Nashville, six great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Bullard of 
Adel.
 Funeral services were held February 2 at 11 a.m. at Community Calvary Holiness 
Church with the Revs. Lawton Watson and L.C. Harnage officiating.
 Interment followed at Wilkes Cemetery.
 Boone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
