 Olie Dwain Jones, 78, of Swansea, SC died Aug. 10, 2010, at his son’s re
residence in Swansea, SC.
 Born Oct. 23, 1931 in Cook County to the late Tillman Newton and Rachael  Anna C
Cowart Jones, he had lived in Cook County most of his life. He was a retired r
registered nurse, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of Brushy C
Creek Baptist Church. He was married to the late Mary Ellen Drawdy Jones.
 Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dwain and Brenda Jones of Swansea; 
daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Don Futch of Nashville; brother, Lindel 
Jones of Montgomery, AL; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. at Concord Church Cemetery 
with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Musical selection included “Beulah Land” and 
and “Old Rugged Cross.”
 Pallbearers were Tony Aldridge, Cody Edwards, Austin Edwards, Robert Edwards.
Boone Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
