Born September 20, 1927 in Allen Co., KY to the late Frank McKinley and Lola Mae Graves, she was a homemaker, postal clerk, and Avon representative for 42 years. She was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church and was married to the late Ralph Milton "R.M." Kendrick. Survivors include one son, Royce Kendrick of Sparks; one daughter, Lana McDonald of Sparks; one half-brother, Dorel Graves of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, one step-grandson. Funeral services were held September 9 at 2 p.m. at Sparks United Methodist Church with the Revs. Al Lewis and Dillard Ensley officiating. The church choir sang "When We All Get to Heaven" and "O That Will Be Glory," and the congregation sang "Victory in Jesus," accompanied by Claudette Spearman, pianist. Interment was in Sparks City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Frank Alley, Ronald Tillman, Bruce Betts, Terry Permenter, Rusty Partin, Jerry Permenter. Honorary pallbearers were James Ensley, Gene Maddox, Cloyd Bloser, Jr., Tom Skinner, Terry Barber, Floyd Kelly, Billy Spearman, Duffy Daughtrey, William Harrell, Jimmy Rountree, Joe Bridges.
