  Mary Frances Cook Knape, 87, of Lenox died November 8, 2007 at Tift Health 
Care.
  Born August 20, 1920 in Bainbridge to the late Ernest Elwood and Martha Lee 
Cloud Cook, she was a homemaker and member of Lenox Baptist Church.
  Survivors include her husband, Warren Knape of Lenox; two daughters and one 
son-in-law, Maria Bennett and Martha and Laddie Darden, all of Lenox; two sons, 
Warren M. Knape, Jr. of Atlanta and Michael Knape, Sr. of Lenox; six 
grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Tammy Bennett, Rosa Michelle Knape, 
Katrina and Brian Bondari, Michael Knape, Jr., Melissan Knape, Marla Darden; 
three great-grandchildren, Kristie Bennett, Chase Bennett, Mallory Bennett. She 
was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
  Funeral services were held Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson 
Home for Funerals with Rev. Lamer Harris officiating.
  Interment was in Staunton Cemetery in Lenox.
  Active pallbearers were Murray Fender, Randall Norman, Monty Sapp, Felton 
Norman, Zack Wetherington, David Jones.
  Honorary pallbearers were J.R. Merrifield, Billy Green, and the Senior Adult 
Sunday School Class of Lenox Baptist Church.
  Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
